Hi friends! I´m Mónica and I´m a teacher at Rural School number 42 “Paso Uleste”.

The school is in a beautiful rural area in Paysandú, Uruguay. The place is peaceful and lovely.

The school is small. The walls are red and the roof is black. There are lots of trees and colorful flowers.

There are 14 students in our school. We are like one big family.

In the morning, we have regular lessons and the students learn Maths, Science, English, etc.

During the break, the students go to the playground. They play hide-and-seek, soccer, etc.

There is a small garden at the school. The students learn how to plant flowers and vegetables.

The students have an art class where they paint, draw, and make beautiful crafts.

Sometimes, there are special events. The students’ families come to school. We sing, dance, and have fun.

On Fridays, Marita prepares a chocolate cake for the students and they love it!
